Inventing America: The American History Pinball Machine
Students worked in groups of eight to design and build a functioning pinball machine. This machine needed to incorporate both mechanical functions and thematic components from American history into a functional and aesthetically exciting machine. Each group was divided into four areas of expertise with pairs of students working in an area of expertise: mechanical, electrical, industrial design, and team management.
Axis STEM Design Challenge Day
Thursday Jan. 31st
Thank-you everyone that participated. It was a wonderful day of designing and building at the Sonoma Jet Center. Congratulations to all teams that successfully completed a design. We could not have made this event possible without the support of the Pacific Coast Air Museum and the Sonoma Jet Center.
